The pool sessions are a fantastic way to discover kayaking in a warm and clean environment. You will usually meet several Battersea Canoe Club members who are happy to give some of their time to the newer paddlers in the pool to help them learn the essential skills for kayaking. We usually go to a nearby pub afterwards to unwind and catch up after the session. It’s a great opportunity to find out more about the club and how to get involved.
Sessions are open to the general public who are over 18 years old and can swim 50 meters. However places MUST BE BOOKED as there is a limited amount of kit and in order to prevent the session becoming overcrowded. Book your Place. Note that if you turn up without booking you are likely to be turned away.
