[edit] White Water paddling
Having fun on wild rivers!
One of the main aspects of the club is going away on weekend trips to paddle white water rivers.
Regular UK destinations include the Dart on Dartmoor, the Usk in South Wales, the Tryweryn and Dee in North Wales.
Regular further afield destinations are the Austrian or French Alps for some summer big water paddling.
We have also run trips to British Columbia (awesome!) and New Zealand. Paddlers in the club also have experience of many other white water destinations (Nepal, etc.) and we have very close links with our friend Paul Cripps who runs Amazonas Explorer in Peru (rafting, kayaking, trekking and mountain biking).
[edit] post Paddling Activities
generally involve cream teas or pubs
