White Water paddling on big volume rivers, e.g. Austria, British Columbia or flood stage UK rivers.
White Water Racing - bit out of practice at the moment and need to get back into regular "training" before taking on an event. Used to compete in Div A (and its forerunner before that!). Also keen on developing Fast Cruising as a fun way to paddle white water rivers.
Surfing - the search for the ultimate wave photos
I also do a bit of coaching to help people new to the sport or to improve their skills.
Once upon a time a long time ago, used to be a full time canoe instructor.
Other interests
- Have also been seen on a Mountain Bike, leading from the back of the group.
- Hill walking when the river's are dry.
- Searching for the ultimate in Cream teas.
