I know, I know - it's not very good English, but this is a little place to keep an archive of all the old recent events. So sue me.

Lots of things been happening recently: Canoe Polo tournaments (T1 report), horse riding, climbing, surfing (Wooly trip report), Nene trips, river sessions, club BBQ party, the list goes on!!

March 18 - Day trip to Shepperton
March 9/11 - More than 20 paddlers and bikers take to Dollegau in North Wales. Paddling on the Tryweryn and Dee. James's photos of biking and paddling. Trip report with more pix.
February 25 - Day trip to Harefield, where some 20 paddlers discovered that raw sewage was being pumped straight into the river. Nice.
Jan 12/14 Trip to the Dart, Tales of daring do on the Upper, Loop and Lower plus mighty breakfasts.

Dec 31 Working up a New Year's eve thirst at Shepperton in high water
Dec 8/10 Trip to the Usk in South Wales, staying in 5* luxury bunkhouse and lots of water in the river. Were the swims a result of too much partying the night before? Trip report now online.
This year's club AGM was held at 8pm at The Windmill pub, Clapham Common, on 28 November. Read the AGM minutes here. And don't forget to pay your membership fee if you haven't yet!
Nov 18/19 First trip of the season to the Dart. The Lower, Loop and the river without a name were paddled. Lots of gossip and goings on - see the trip report.
Oct 28/29 lots of fun on the Wye at Symonds Yat. A bunkhouse next to the pub - luxury!
Oct 7/8 Tryweryn Oct 06 photos from Ross and the boys with a few movies from Ed
30 Sep - Thames Cruise down river with the tide, stop for a pub lunch in Wapping while the tide turns and then return on the flood tide back to Barn Elms - seeing the sights from a duck's perspective!
24 September - Nene Trip - report to follow soon
9-10 September - No surf but beautiful weather as 30 paddlers, bikers and friends head to Woolacombe. A few pictures and the trip report here.
31 July - Committee meeting at The Goat in Clapham Junction. Beers, discussion and an argument about tax. Minutes can be found here
29 July - at least 20 BCC members get together for a very tasty (and rather expensive!) curry at the legendary Sarkhels in Southfields, followed by the premiere of Dave's Sanna lid-cam video.
24 June - 8 July, around a dozen BCC paddlers (and a dwarf?) took to the Austrian alps. The sun shined all day, melting the glaciers, and then it rained most evenings. No surprise then that the rivers were massive! Trip report and photos to follow, including: who swam, who's car broke down, what colour do Belgian speed camaras flash, who put Cat out, does the Sanna still cut it, why is half the club now speaking Yorkshire (what does "appen" mean) and other stories.

17 June, 14 intrepid explorers search for the ultimate boating experience and paddle the Wandle. Two swims - whatever next!! (nettle and bramble related). Selection of photos here, further trip details (to explain things like "pipe rush") to follow soon.
12-14 May, North Wales paddling and biking trip. Nine BCC members, and some bloke with a pipe, take on the River Tryweryn and Marin bike trail. Trip report now online. Photos to follow.
6 May, Shepperton come and try a different boat - 17 paddlers playing in C1, C2 slalom K1, WWR K1, Sea Kayak, play boat, squirt, etc.... and a fine pub lunch to follow! a few snaps here
21-23 April, Woolacombe surf trip. More than 30 canoeists, bikers and friends hit the north Devon coast. Trip report here, photos to follow soon.
7 April, BCC wine tasting evening at Dave Tuttle's house in Cheam.
2 April, Tooting Bec Polo Tournament. Hear how the 'pups' beat the 'dogs', and see the full tournament results here
3-5 March, last Dart trip of the season. Paddling, walking and the longest bike ride in history. Full trip report now on the site, complete with movies and pics too.

The recent Oct 29-30 Dart 2005 trip got to see how the Dart can change dramatically overnight, our roving reporter Sally Williams has completed the full trip report for the enjoyment of all.
